This is part of a big auction of blues and R&B 7" records. There are many King and Chess records here with several "bonus" listings and a handful of rarities. Keep an eye out for a large Specialty Records auction in a couple of weeks then an oddball auction of mainly 60's rock 'n roll, many with picture sleeves.

Here's the info on this item:

Release: Earl Connelly King - Something Money Can't Buy / Daddy Laddy

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1957

Notes: White label promo first pressing with bio. Later single by this Philadelphia artist who only released a few singles in his career. A-side is a slow tempo crooner kind of track.  B-side is more of a lively R&B track with some great sax backing.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a couple of tiny surface scuffs. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice, but do have some scuffing (likely due to liquid exposure).  More noticeable on Daddy side, much lighter on Money side.  I'd still call this a weak VG+ due to the playability, but take a look and see what you think.

Sleeve Condition: VG, has some light wrinkles and one small tear by the label hole. Looks good overall.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
