The debut full lenght album ''The Secrets Of The Black Arts'' by the Swedish Black Metal institution DARK FUNERAL from 1996 is still at the top of the list when it comes to legendary Black Metal albums of the 90s. The 11 tracks, including a VON coverversion, still seem fresh, vicious, black through and through. Now, with this re-release, DARK FUNERAL remind us of their own, rather magical past and of the fact that there were times when there was still feeling and atmosphere in the music. For a well-rounded overall feel good package, mastermind Lord Ahriman himself went down into the depths of his cellar & rummaged through his private archives. He talked to Zoltar Badin from Terrorizer/Iron Fist to create detailed liner notes. Here is the limited 2023 re-issue of only 400 copies in red 180g vinyl, 60x60cm poster packed in a nice gatefold cover.
