"Rise" by Herb Alpert - Limited Edition Original Master Recording - Vinyl LP. Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab – MFSL 1-053, A&M Records – MFSL 1-053, released in 1982. This popular Herb Alpert soul-jazz title song reached number one on the Billboard charts in 1979. The A&M album sold many copies, but only 5,000 copies of this rare original master half-speed recording were pressed, providing superior sound quality compared to the mass release album. This LP is in VG+ condition - some surface noise can be heard in quiet passages, but it is very listenable. The record jacket is in mint condition. A printed insert explains the master recording technology, and the original record warranty return postcard is also inside the jacket.
