Definitely the most rare Chris Ledoux 7” single available to the public. It’s believed to be one of the first releases he ever offered, if not THE first. If you look on Discogs, I’m currently the ONLY person who has publicly listed that they own a copy. There must be a few others still out there somewhere, but they may never show up online. These earliest releases were offered in such low numbers.
This one plays through with only some dust and dirt crackles. There are some subtle scuffs from roughly fifty years of existence, but none are deep enough to be considered actual “scratches” and they definitely don’t show up as pops or skips. I had to shine light on them at an extreme angle just to get them to show up in a photograph. I rated this as a visual VG+. After a good cleaning to remove some of the 40-50 year old dust, I’d say this should play as a NM- or better. But, hey… even if it wasn’t in such nice condition, it’s currently the ONLY copy available in the world!
