Opportunity for a bargain.  Listed as used, but only played once copy of the excellent Supergrass compilation The Strange Ones on black vinyl.
This is an ideal play copy; It has been played once through and is in the same condition as delivered to me, but it does have some aesthetic and manufacturing blemishes (listed below) which if you don't care about, make it a fantastic copy.  It plays through with no pops, but does have some light occasional clicks and surface noise.
Cover: As new and still in its shrink.  The opening does have some slight dent damage from the shrink wrap process (quite common these days and extremely poor manufacturing).  See photo.  Only noticeable really if you removed the shrink and were staring at the dents.
Inner Sleeves: Very thin paper sleeves, as new.  No tears but one side of the side 2 sleeve is just starting to crack (records will not be sent in the post in these sleeves.
Booklet: As new.  Also has a merchandise leaflet, which is creased.  Like this from new and is from the way it was put into the sleeve.
Discs: As new and played through once.  Disc one: Plays through with no pops or skips but at the start of side 1, on the track Diamond Hoo Haa Man there are some very light repetitive clicks at the start of the track.  The clicks are extremely low level and more like ambient vinyl noise, but I like to mention these things.  Small amount of surface noise at the end in of side 1 going into the dead wax.  Side 2 occasional light clicks on some tracks.  Light surface noise at the fade out of side 2 on the track Moving.  No pops.  Disc 2: Side 1 at the very beginning of the track has some brief light thuds due to a pressing defect.  They are not loud but audible "under" the music.  Light clicks at the start of Late in the Day.
Both discs have surface marks, scuffs and hairlines (especially on side D, which has a long hairline running across several tracks, but is not audible) from the awful scratchy paper sleeves.  I imagine all copies have marks of some kind.  Why they put records into these sleeves I will never know.  Please don't bid on this LP if these are issues for you-the discs have marks and are essentially manufacturing defects/wear.
UK bidders unless using the GSP.  Hope it goes to a good home.  Ideal playing copy. Not mint, but never was.
