Black Country Communion is an American super-group which consists of Glenn Hughes (Trapeze, Deep Purple, Hughes-Thrall, Hughes Turner, Tony Iommi) on vocals and bass, Joe Bonammasa (Bloodline) on guitars and vocals, Derek Sherinian (Alice Cooper, Billy Idol, Dream Theater, Planet X, Sons Of Apollo) on keyboards and Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin, Bonham, Sammy Hagar & The Circle, Airrace, Steel Dragon) on drums.

The music seems to use the basic blueprint of Deep Purple Mach III (of which Glenn Hughes was a member) and gives it a modern or updated edge. Think of blues-rock, meets funk and soul with the heaviness of Led Zeppelin and the like.
