Rare record from J Dilla’s personal record collection. Sold on eBay by Ma Dukes in 2012. This is the Allure “Head Over Heels” single featuring Nas. It’s a 12” 33 1/2 LP. I’ve never played it. All the dust and any imperfections are from Dilla himself. It’s been stored along with a small number of special records in a cool and dry room, very safe.
It also has some handwriting on the cardboard cover that looks like Dillas handwriting, based on what I’ve found online. Can’t confirm but look at my pictures and Google it (I've worked as a historian working on handwriting, so I'm fairly certain). Check the Smithsonian link below to compare his handwriting to the handwriting on the cover. I also added a picture taking images from his handwriting to compare.
