The Label (Sofa) - **RARE** Various Artists Punk Rock Sampler Picture Disc

The Label – TLR LP 002S from 1979. RARE 12" LP "Medusa" Picture Disc. Hand assembled, rather heavy picture disc. Beautiful graphics (same on both sides). Extremely rare original picture disc record from 1979. Designed by HAN-O-DISC and advertised as a 'TRANSLUMAR DEFRACTOR DISC'.

This is actually two, one-sided clear vinyl’s stuck together with the design/artwork sandwiched in-between. The design glows in the dark, is translucent, and diffracts light. The graphics appear to float inside the outer enclosure of disc (disc was reportedly made of 6 components when it was hand assembled). When printing was done, the R was left off. It should have said the label SOFAR

Comes in a clear PVC inner and outer sleeve with hype sticker attached. Sticker is in fairly good shape but sleeve has a severe case of the wrinkles and as a result, is graded G+.

Record is in nice shape but has some light plastic migration from the sleeve that is only visible under certain light and off-angle positions. Record is being visually graded VG+.

Record will be shipped in a MOFI inner sleeve.
