180g Audiophile Vinyl Triple LP! Lacquers Cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering!
"Junta" is Phish's first official studio album which was originally self-released in 1989 on cassette and then re-released by Elektra Records in 1992 on Cassette and CD. The album was named after the band's first official manager, Ben "Junta" Hunter.
The tracklisting may seem sparse but the collection includes symphonic-like epics and multi-part prog rock suites.
The original 1/4 master reels were dug out from the archives in 2012. The lacquers were cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering by Chris Bellman. This version is pressed on 180g audiophile grade black vinyl. 3-LP set.
