This vintage 1897 record features the Jolly Fellows Waltz performed by Sousa's Band, conducted by Henry Higgins. It comes in a cardboard sleeve and is a low-fidelity recording on black shellac material. The record grading is very good (VG) and the inlay condition is very good plus (VG+).
This first edition, first pressing record is a 7" single with a catalog number of 51 V. It has a mono audio channel and runs at a speed of +/- 60 RPM. The record label is E. Berliner's Gramophone and it includes etched label features. Hand etched on face is :”Henry Higgins-Sousa’s Band.”The unit quantity is one and it falls under the categories of Music and Vinyl Records.
Please see all photos, ask any questions (I might even have an answer!) This was my first, and now is my last Berliner record. You have to love the primitive nature of the record! When shipped, it’ll be in a new 8x8x4 box with cardboard and bubble wrap. So it’ll be safe!
