Sigue Sigue Sputnik was a British new wave band formed in 1982 by former Generation X Bassist Tony James. This 12" Vinyl record containing the demo track "Love Missile F1-11" is a super rare 45 rpm DJ Promo Copy issued in 1985 by Manhattan records (division of Capitol records). Side 1 (spro-9677)is the 3:45 single version and Side 2 (spro-9678) is the 4:31 extended version. The song went on to hit #3 in the UK charts, and #50 in the US. It also was used in the soundtrack of the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".
