Is this the greatest album ever made? Not even close, but if you find spending time in a tub full of vomit fun, you will appreciate it. Reed’s fifth (sixth?…who cares) studio album is an onslaught of sound that deserves a deep listen. Just do it with earplugs. Seriously though, I think everything Reed did was spectacular and cool. This record is no different. It contains nothing but Reed’s favorite things - electric guitar and distorted feedback.
Vinyl is very clean, close to EX while gatefold sleeve has some rubbing and ringwear. This is the tan label variation. Sides A and D are paired on one record and sides B and C on the other record. Subtitled "The Amine β Ring". Side D ends in a locked groove, label states: 16:01 or ∞. Shipped in a cardboard record box with bubble wrap.
