THE SUPREMES Baby love VINYL LP (Japan) Globe SJET-7630
(circ. 1964/65 – rare JAPAN ONLY? release from 1964 with tracks including ‘Baby love’, ‘Where did our love go’,’Come see about me’, etc. This copy is in extremely clean condition. Globe licenced through Victor in Japan.)
[Japanese edition of A Bit Of Liverpool with 3 additional tracks (A1, A2, B3) from Where Did Our Love Go. "You've Really Got A Hold On Me" from A Bit Of Liverpool is omitted.]
Record Grade: EX+
(Very clean, under strong light, no spindle marks I could see, possibly un-played. near to, if not M- ... except from one small patch of abrasive scuffs on the edge of the run in grooves on one side. Label in pictures looks blank but the label text is in a fine black and doesn't come out in pics clearly.)
(Flip-back) Cover Grade: around EX+
(Please see pictures for your own take, but it's a nice. No splits, stickers, etc. Only issue is one small light bend to a corner and a hint of age browning, but hardly any. May have been kept in a sealed plastic slip for most its life.)
[No obi - not sure if this release ever came with an obi.]
Not far off what you would find in a Tokyo record shop in 1964 - condition wise.
IMPORTANT: Record will be sent with tracking and full value insurance. PLEASE ACCOUNT FOR ANY IMPORT DUTIES AND SALES TAXES IF MAKING A BID FROM OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA FREE SHIPPING TO AUSTRALIA (registered post on $20+ items) INTERNATIONAL BUYERS NOTE: Import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Please be aware of these costs before bidding. (International Postage terms: see below) Posted with vinyl outside of sleeve to prevent sleeve splits in transit. Packed in solid cardboard. Japanese pressings are usually heavier packages.
IMPORTANT: All records graded carefully under strong light.
I have a long standing good reputation for grading and I use
the UK grading system which includes EX grades. I am used to
strict Japanese grading standards. If a disc is graded EX you
will not receive something that should be VG+. On the off chance
that happens, please contact me and I will sort it out.
International Postage:
These discs are generally aimed at Australian buyers,
but I have a lot of experience posting internationally.
Some items are set as AU/N.E. Asia only; some are Asia + UK/US/Europe.
International postage will be an $ AU 30 flat rate (air w/tracking)
(I'll cover the difference, including signature etc., and if actual postage
does happen to come in lower I'll refund the difference back.)
If you would like to combine international postage on multiple items
please wait for an invoice.
Vinyl is visually graded only. My sound system is still in storage in
another city.
Grading note: Very clean near mint records may sometimes have tiny
specks of dust or very small ultra thin fabric strands (which can sometimes
be mistaken for marks) on the vinyl, which come from the inside of
inner sleeves. Both of these will likely be removed by the stylus on first play.
If I can, I send items out in anti-static inner sleeves to try to minimize
this.
