Exceptionally clean copy of the first pressing which was limited to 500 copies (on clear vinyl). Printed on spine: “ The Consequences of Raising Hell…”. Plain white inner sleeve. This was the fourth album that Coil released in 1987 and it was the proposed soundtrack to the film Hellraiser, but was turned down because it was not considered commercial enough. One of the very few releases on the record label Solar Lodge (COIL 1), an English label run by John Sanders and Mick Gaffney (R&D 28). No “Gold is the Metal” info sheet.
