This is a vinyl record of Elvis Presley's self-titled first album. It's an original release from 1956. It also comes with a newspaper supplement from when he passed away.
I’m selling many individual records from my collection. It’s difficult to point out every flaw in detail and it’s very subjective to each person. Please do not buy if you are planning to complain and are expecting it to be as new.
You can judge the cosmetic condition of the cover by the pictures. I try to show every angle. The cover is used and has wear. I try to point out any major flaws, but there will always be small imperfections due to its used nature. If there is an inner sleeve or any extras, they will be in shown in the pictures. The inner sleeve looks old, but I'm not sure if it's the original. There are edge splits on the top and bottom seams.
There are pictures of both sides of the disc so you can get an idea of the cosmetic condition. I’ve listened to the whole record before. I write my own informal notes of the condition, which are not the same as official grading. My notes usually focus on major problems (such as skipping), rather than how fantastic it plays. I may have played it 10+ years ago and my notes were from then. My notes for this record were “dirty & noisy, no skips”. How well a record plays can also depend on your turntable, stylus, and how well they are setup.
Other information
You can view a full size photo by opening the eBay picture in a new window. It will be shipped in a box, probably using USPS Media mail. If you would like other shipping, it will cost more. I'm not looking to split up and sell only part of the listing. Again, please do not buy if you are planning to complain and are expecting it to be as new. There are no returns unless I grossly misrepresented it. Please inspect the pictures.
