Thank you for viewing my sale for a publicity package supporting the release of the WEDDING ALBUM, by the late, great Leon Russell and his then wife (great in her own right) Mary McCreary Russell, the first studio album released on Leon’s Paradise Records label. Leon and Mary Russell are credited as producers throughout the album, with the exception of the final track, "Daylight", which was produced by its writer, Bobby Womack. This publicity package includes the official biographical press release, a glossy 8x10” photo and two promotional (not for sale) DJ 45s. Incidentally, this was  the second label founded by Leon Russell (the first being Shelter Records, which was quite a success). Publicity was handled by Warner Brothers and distributed by WEA.

Please review the pictures carefully for condition and content, which include: 

(1) an 8 X 10 inch glossy b&w photo

(2) bio printed on light blue Paradise Records stationary

(3) white Paradise Records publicity folder

(4) 2 Promo 45’s (see photos for tracks)    

This is perfect for the Leon Russell aficionado or rock ’n roll press kit collector. It has been stored in a file cabinet since it was received with a collection of press kits and promo records in the early ‘80s.

CONDITION: This is part of a PR Kit collection carefully stored since the early ‘80s, perfect for Leon Russell fans as well as the rock ’n’ roll press kit aficionado. Folder shows slight wear on edge; glossy 8 X 10 photo in excellent shape; bio in excellent shape; both records probably unplayed and rated in VG+ condition. For best view super-size photos at top left, which are considered part of this description.
