THIS IS AN ORIGINAL MONO PRESSING, BLACK/YELLOW FIREWORKS, 446 W. 50th St. NYC LABELS. HAS RVG AND AB ON EACH SIDE, FLAT EDGE PRESSING, DEEP GROOVE LABELS, LONG PLAYING MICROGROOVE. PRLP-7048.
RECORD CONDITION
THE RECORD
IS IN VG/VG- CONDITION (VISUALLY GRADED). VINYL HAS A NICE/SHINY LUSTER. VINYL HAS MINIMAL INTERNAL MOTTLING/LINES. BOTH LABELS ARE IN NICE SHAPE. BOTH SIDES HAVE SOME LITE THIN NON-FEELABLE SCUFFS, THIN NON-FEELABLE SCRATCHES AND THIN NON-FEELABLE PAPER SLEEVE HAIRLINES. SIDE ONE - THE 1st TUNE I HEARD, DURING THE INITIAL COUPLE OF MINUTES OF PLAY, SOME LITE SURFACE NOISE AND SOME CONSISTENT AND RANDOM LITE TICKS DURING THE SAX SOLO, THEN LATER IN THE TUNE A SMALL AMOUNT OF LITE SURFACE NOISE DURING THE INITIAL PLAY OF THE BASS SOLO, THEN THE REMAINDER OF THE TUNE PLAYS NICELY, LOUD AND CLEAR. THE 2nd AND 3rd TUNES PLAY NICELY, NO TICKS OR POPS, HAVING MINIMAL SURFACE NOISE, LOUD AND CLEAR. SIDE TWO - THE 1st TUNE I HEARD ONLY A COUPLE OF LITE TICKS DURING THE TRUMPET AND SAX SOLO'S, RANDOM MINOR SURFACE NOISE IN A FEW AREAS, OTHERWISE PLAYS WITH MINIMAL SURFACE, LOUD AND CLEAR. THE 2nd TUNE PLAYS HAVING SIX LITE TICKS DURING THE INITIAL SAX SOLO, THEN DURING MOST OF THE PIANO SOLO THERE IS SOME LITE CRACKLING AND SOME TICKS, THE CLOSING SAX SOLO HAS SOME LITE CRACKLING AND TICKS TOWARD THE ENDING OF THE TUNE. THE 3rd TUNE PLAYS WITH CONSISTENT SURFACE NOISE/CRACKLING/TICKS THROUGH THE WHOLE TUNE.
COVER CONDITION
THE ORIGINAL 447 W. 50th St. COVER IS IN VG+ CONDITION. THE COVER HAS LITE SURFACE WEAR ON BOTH SIDES. FRONT HAS A GREAT GLOSS/DISPLAYS WELL. BACKSIDE IS CLEAN HAVING ONLY SOME LITE FOXING. THE SPINE AND LOWER SEAMS ARE SOLID HAVING NO SPLITS, NO CRACKS OR CHIPS. THE UPPER SEAM HAS ONLY A CENTERED THREE INCH LONG AREA WITH SMALL CRACKS, NO SPLITS OR CHIPS. TWO CORNERS HAVE LITE WEAR, THE OTHER TWO HAS SOME WEAR. NO WRITING, NO STICKER, NO STAMPS, NO WATER DAMAGE, NO PAPER TEARS.
ALL RECORDS HAVE BEEN CLEANED USING A VPI RECORD CLEANING MACHINE WITH VPI RECORD CLEANING FLUID.
