My personal copy of Elvis' original 1956 release of his 2nd LP in the USA.
This was pressed at the RCA Indianapolis plant as indicated by the 'I' in the run off area.
The vinyl has plenty of the expected superficial wear for an album nearly 70 years old. It generally plays through well. I've listened to it and there is a some crackle in places, eg quieter tracks like Old Shep, but during one track, Ready Teddy, there is towards the end of the track some sound degradation and skips due to a deeper scratch. This doesn't affect the other tracks and otherwise the music is very clear and always enjoyable, plays very nicely.
The original sleeve surface has a little wear but is clean with no writing or marks. As with many LPs of this time there is a neat split at the top of the sleeve. See the pictures.
This is one of the most sought after Elvis LPs and still goes well with Elvis' 1st LP also on auction.
I'm starting the auction VERY LOW for thisĀ collector's item with no reserve so highest bid will win the record.
See my other rare Elvis auctions from around the world, built up carefully over 50 years but time now to part.
Always a money back guarantee if not satisfied.
Good luck and thanks for looking, Chri
