World Galaxy is the sixth solo album by . It was recorded in November 1971 in New York City, and was released in 1972 by . On the album, Coltrane appears on piano, organ, harp, tamboura, and percussion, and is joined by saxophonist , bassist , drummer , timpanist , and a string ensemble led by David Sackson. Violinist  also appears on soloist on one track, and  provides narration. World Galaxy features a trilogy of original compositions bookended by "" and "A Love Supreme", two pieces for which her husband  was known. It was the second in a series of three albums (following  and preceding ) on which Coltrane appeared with an ensemble of strings.
This copy is a beautiful VG+/VG+
Jacket is VG+ showing only the lightest storage wear. Has promo sticker on the front of the sleeve and the backside as well. Please see photos. Gatefold looks great too. Does include the original record jacket as well.
Vinyl is a beautiful VG+ showing only light paper imperfections. Plays amazing.
