Hank Locklin 10” Demo audition acetate 78 All My Life I’ve Been A Beggar Audiodisc Demo This is great previously unissued song that Hank made with just him and his guitar, announcing it as for audition only.
There is another recording on the other side of Hank With just a guitar (lyrics - I’ve Been Through This World) but 4 Star put razor marks in the grooves so it can’t be played. There’s also a song before the featured song on the other side but they put green marks and bad razor cuts so it can’t be played. Very rare, probably a one of a kind item which could never have been offered on ebay or any other venue, and can’t be on Youtube or known to exist. Priceless recording! This demo acetate was found at 4 Star
This playing grooves on playable song is in Mint- condition. This long lost demo must have stood untouched and unplayed in 4 Star studio warehouse for over 70 years.
