Phil Templeton and Twin Mountain Boys 10” Demo 78 Can You Change The Way You Feel? b/w The Door Is Open To My Heart KTXL radio station demo in San Angelo Texas Unissued demo sides which were sent by Phil Templeton to 4 Star to get a recording contract. This demo is dated 12/30/48 and comes with 2 letters dated October 2, 1950 that 4 Star sent to the artist explaining why they felt the songs weren’t good enough to get signed. It was found in 4 Star warehouse There are no matix or reference numbers This previously unreleased demo is probably the only copy known, and you won’t hear it anywhere else.
The demo seems in Mint- condition. Both sides play from the inside out.
It must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse untouched and unplayed for over 70 years.
