KNOW Radio station in Austin Texas demo label This acetate was sent from 4 Star Records to radio station KLCN for promotion, but not sure if these takes were ever released. It was found in 4 Star warehouse The company wrote “no” on San Antonio Rose side, so it seems they didn’t like it. The other side has light razor cuts marked across the grooves put by 4 Star, so that side wouldn’t get played. That side plays with pops, and not recommended to play often because it can damage your needle.
There are no matix numbers in the acetate.
The playable side of this demo is in VG+++ condition It must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse untouched and unplayed for well over 70 years.
