Scarce first pressing jazz lp: JOE HENDERSON – Mode for Joe – Blue Note 4227, mono, “Van Gelder” in the runouts and “New York USA” on the labels; released in 1966.
Condition is VG-/VG+: side 1 has minor scuffs and a few small soft marks, plays VG++ or better; side 2 has moderate scuffing and several long surface scratches that I can partially feel – this side still plays VG or better, with minor repeating ticks and background for the second half (the marks affect the second half of track 2 and all of track 3); jacket has very light ringwear, clean spine, minor rubbing to seams and corners, shallow rubbing to right edge.
