Buddy Thornton one sided Metal acetate 12" 78 Lonely Christmas Eve This acetate was found in 4 Star warehouse This was recorded on 11/11/1953 and was leased to Thornton label for release, and then 4 Star.
The playing grooves start 1/3 of the way into the acetate and in Mint- condition. There are edge peelings about 1” before playing grooves. Inscribed into the beginning of the record and in matrix is 4*6730 and OP-289-C
It must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse untouched and unplayed for over 70 years.
