I'm selling my personal UK 1977 pressing of Neat Neat Neat by The Damned.  Owned from new in 1977 and cared for as part of my collection. I've only played the record a handfull of times this is an incredibly scarce gem of a copy in exceptional condition. The vinyl has been stored in a separate paper sleeve. I have cleaned it and play tested both sides ahead of this listing and both sound incredible. I've explained my EX+/EX+ grading in detail below.

A: Neat Neat Neat

B: Stab Your Back / Singalong Scabies

I have taken great care of this record for ~ 47 years within my record collection.

Clearly an accurate grading is important, I have over 22 years ebay selling with 100% positive feedback demonstrating my strict grading and I very very rarely grade an older record as "mint". I believe honesty is the best policy.

For this Damned 7" I have used a variation of the Record Collector magazine grading system. I've added the '+' suffix because if used correctly this is a useful way to describe a record.

Vinyl: The record and labels are in EXCELLENT+ [EX+] condition. There are no obvious marks or spindle lines on the record but I have taken it out of the sleeve to play it several times. It cannot be graded Mint. If I had used the Discogs / Goldmine grading system this would fall into their NEAR MINT category, ie nearly perfect. I have added the + suffix to the Record Collector EX grade to demonstrate it's at the upper end of EX.

Sleeve: This is a thickish card delga sleeve with laminated front. Again I've gone for the EX+ Record Collector grading. The sleeve does have some very light storage wear. The photos show the condition. There is a very very light imprint from the vinyl from storage next to the sleeve in the PVC protective sleeve and a very thin laminate imperfection on the front sleeve (the "N" of the second Neat - close up photo taken) which was there when new. The angled top opening is very crisp and clean. In summary, the cover has very very light/ minor shelf wear but has no folds, seam splits, scratches, or other noticeable similar defects. As with the vinyl this is not a Mint grade. I'd still use NEAR MINT using the Discogs system since it's condition much better than VG+. Despite the minor defects described I'm comfortable that its overall exceptional condition still warrants an EX+ grading.

In summary, this is a strictly graded EX '+' copy of the second single by The Damned. I've only seen 1 copy in  better condition than this and I bought it!! Hence I'm selling this one.

Please message me if you want additional photographs or information. The record will be securely and carefully packaged. The vinyl will be in a separate paper sleeve. I will post royal mail special delivery. For non UK buyers I will use ebay shipping service and cannot control their additional fees.
