Rare 1966 Original US Jazz LP Release - Sonny Simmons “Stayingon Watch” ESP-Disk 1030 Stereo with Barbara Donald, John Hicks, etc... Vinyl isVG to VG+ plays very well. Some louder surface noise “nicks” mainly noticeable inthe quieter parts. Several Pops heard on track 1 side 2 but only for a short time.Otherwise, no Skips or Sticks. All around good quality ESP-DISK pressing. Coveris VG+ with only a couple flaws – edge wear is minimal. There is an ink squarecovering where “stereo” should appear. See pictures. Inner paper sleeve is alsoVG+ condition. This incredible session was recorded in 1966 when Barbara Donaldand Sonny Simmons were first married. All compositions by Sonny Simmons.
