Someone gave this to me. It is a real shellac disc record that was pressed in 2021. Apparently, this genius made a "mother" from the original Berliner disc which was then used to create new discs.
I do have a few real Berliner discs to compare this copy to and except for being a tad thicker, it looks and sounds like an original. Yes, it plays just fine. Of course, all the scratches, pops and clicks on the original disc are also recreated in the copy. It does have an edge chip so you're missing a few seconds of music in the beginning.
I ship in deep boxes with packing peanuts and disc will be taped between 6 sheets of cardboard.
