STATEMENT ABOUT CONDITION:

I am very careful with my vinyl condition grading, as I myself have been a victim of, shall we say, “exaggerated LP conditions”.  My condition grades for vinyl are not just visual.  I play or have played each record and my condition rating reflects how it PLAYS.  I WILL NOT SELL A RECORD THAT IS LESS THAN VG (vinyl) unless it is extremely rare.  Sometimes that Jacket will be less than VG, but the vinyl is in great condition. I am not really a collector, so the SOUND of the record is the most important part to me.

All LPs are cleaned with my Nitty Gritty 2.5Fi Record cleaner.  I have replaced many of the paper sleeves with new anti-static sleeves, but I will always include the original sleeve if it was present.

SEALED         still sealed, unopened record

NM/NM         Both the cover and the record look almost new.  It may have 1 or two inaudible scuffs.

NM-/NM-       Both the cover and the record look almost new with only the most minor signs of wear – the vinyl has been played, but treated very well.

VG+/VG+       Cover may have minor defects like ring wear co notches etc. Record may have a couple of small marks or scuffs which will not be audible.

VG/VG            Cover may have seam separation; heavy ring wear etc. record may have light scratches that sound during play but with no skips.  I will not list many records in VG condition- only if they are quite rare.
