Please observe the grade noted above and use the general guidelines outlined below for your reference.  These are my subjective opinions on grade.  Mixed grades suggest I feel they fall somewhere in between the two.  Also note that due to the volume of records being graded and listed for sale minor discrepancies may exist so I urge you to email me if you have any serious questions prior to buying.  I am happy to answer any questions.  Thanks for reading.

P/G: Poor/Good: Fall nearly into the same category.  Item would be great as a filler or starter copy or may have other intrinsic or artistic value to a buyer.

VG : Very Good: Record shows signs of play, appears well taken care of, should contain no more than some minor scuffs and scratches that should not terribly affect playback but some background sound is expected at this grade.

VG+ : Very Good + : Record may have a minor scratch or two but nothing that should significantly affect playback and background noise should be minimal.

EX : Excellent: Record appears almost Near Mint with minimal signs of play but shows superior levels of care.  Record should play through clean and should not have much more than an errant scuff or scratch. Playback should be relatively free of background noise.

NM : Near Mint: Used when a record has been opened and may have been played once or twice but shows no outward signs of wear.  Item should play like new.

MS : Mint State: Only used when a record is still factory sealed.  Once the seal has been broke it is no longer considered mint even if there are no signs of playing.

I've decided to begin offering a grade for the Album Cover for each album I'm selling.  I hope this helps any prospective buyers make a better judgment of the overall quality of an album for sale.  There is a general outline below that I tend to follow as closely as possible.  Mixed grades suggest I feel they fall somewhere in between the two.  Especially in the case of Album Cover condition I suggest you take a good look at the photo(s) as they will provide you with your most accurate determination of grade.

P/F:   Poor/Fair:  At this grade you almost wonder if the jacket would even hold a record anymore despite being present.

G:      Good:  Album Cover is holding up but has shows heavy wear, a lot of water or mold damage, etc.  But generally offers little worry of keeping a record safe and enclosed.

VG:   Very Good:  Album Cover is in solid condition but very likely shows reasonable ring wear from storage or some minimal splitting or other wear.  A jacket in VG should offer good confidence in protecting the collectible vinyl inside.

VG+: Very Good+:  Album Cover may show some minimal ring wear or wear at corners but colors should be vibrant and there should be no more than some surface blemishes.  Overall structure of the jacket should be very sound.

EX:    Excellent:  Album Cover shows minimal signs of wear.  Some faint wear from storage may still be noticeable but should detract minimally from any Cover Art. Often EX condition jackets remain in the original shrink wrap leading to their lengthy preservation at such a quality.

NM:   Near Mint:  Near Mint Album Covers nearly always are preserved by the Original Shrink Wrap.  If not they have been by other similar means kept with the highest level of care possible and show no signs of wear.  Near Mint Album Covers are of frame-able quality.

MS:   Mint State: Mint is Mint.  The only time I will give out a Mint grade is when an album is sealed and there is no damage to the jacket at all.
