Original 1955 Sun pressing!  Label Nos. U-156 & U-157

Matrix Nos.    45-u-156x  20  and   45-u-157x  20   .....The 20 is slightly more than 1/4 inch above and to the right of the x on both sides.

The vinyl is in fairly nice playable G+ to VG- condition. There is significant wear on the vinyl (numerous needle marks but no deep scratches or splits). I played this on an Ion turntable with a new needle and it played pretty well. There were no pops or skips. There was a bit of fuzz on top of the famous Sun fuzz sound already associated with these records. This record has been played quite a few times. Although not close to perfect this record is still enjoyable with easy to understand lyrics on both sides.

The label is in good condition with ring-wear on both sides. Both sides are intact with no splits or tears. There is an hand written name (Ruby in pencil) on the "Mystery Train" side. There is a numbered sticker on the "I Forgot To Remember To Forget" side.

Overall, this one is an excellent addition to your Sun collection without having to shell out thousands of dollars.
