This is an original copy of PIL's "Metal Box," three 12" EP's, released in 1979. The metal box is actually an adapted 16mm. film canister. In the US it was released as "Second Edition" in a regular cardboard gatefold sleeve.
The box itself has some rust and is generally discolored due to age. There is a needle skip on "Albatross", the only track on side A of the first EP. All the others are near-mint condition.
The track listing insert is a little crinkled from being in the tin against the raised PIL logo for more than 30 years.
The three papers dividers separating the EP's are in near mint condition.
