You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYL   MINT -    INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the EARLIEST UK    '1' MOTHER PRESSING  pressing -NOT A EUROPEAN COPY

Stored from new this LP has seen a couple of very careful plays only , and remains in pristine condition everywhere. The best example we have seen.

This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

One tiny spider line around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There is barely a hint of any whisp lines &  thats it-  nothing else!  There is a few light dust flecs on the vinyl where the LP has not been outside the sleeve for decades-  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On listening through we heard barely the slightest lead in static in the dead grooves and thats about it..possibly the tiniest static cracle in a few spots, but honestly it plays AMAZING.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE SLEEVE     EX+

Correct  UK  LOW GLOSS  FINISH SLEEVE  first issued earliest sleeve with SQUARE SPINE

This is straight out the box from  1982 - incredible condition , we do not auction any sleeves that we deem to have 'wear' so rest assured you are looking at a sleeve of superb condition..

The edges are all super clean with virtually no traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition. This sleeve which is so hard to preserve without wear has clearly been stored away for decades!

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with just a couple of tiny areas of feathering

The spine edge is totally unmarked -no dinks or wear at all.

a couple of tiny incidental spider lines over the edges. and a couple of tiny corner dinks.

There is some very light 'centre label' ring press in the centre of the sleeve

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS  MUSEUM QUALITY.

Original lyric inner, superb no damage or scissoring just some very light ring press.

 

CANDY STRIPED OUTER BAG  EX+   

RARE TO SEE THIS INSIDE AS ONLY THE FIRST PRESS CAME WITH THE BAG, MOST WERE DESTROYED, THROWN AWAY(!) OR DAMAGED..THIS ONE IS IN SUPER CONDITION A COUPLE OF TAPE MARKS & SOME CREASING - BUT NO RIPPING OR SCISSORING..AN AMAZING FIND TO MAKE THIS SET 'COMPLETE'
