This is a vinyl holy grail of sorts - the extremely rare first press of Bill Fay's masterpiece Time of the Last Persecution on the UK Deram label.

Grade:  Cover G+  // Vinyl VG++/EX

Detailed Grading Description:  The covers of these original Deram Time of the Last Persecution LPs are notoriously fragile.  Most of them are pretty tattered.  While this is objectively a G+, if I were to compare the cover to other examples of this LP, I would grade the cover VG or VG+.  Looks like the back was ripped at some point and the previous owner used some adhesive to fix it.  There is some ringwear that looks like it may have been touched up as well by marker, but I can't tell if that is just the loss of laminate.  Comes with the original inner sleeve.  Please examine the photos closely.

The vinyl itself sounds fantastic.  The only surface noise present is between tracks and then some minor, non-intrusive surface noise on the second two tracks on side two.  It looks NM, but I can only give it the VG++/EX grade because of the aforementioned minor surface noise.  Very few spindle marks indicate this was seldom played.  I doubt a cleaner, quieter copy exists.

Goldmine grading - cover/vinyl - if you are not familiar with this grading system please research it before bidding.

Records were play graded on a Rega RP6 w/ an Ortofon 2m Black cartridge though either my speakers or cans depending on the time of day (or night) - check my profile for further system specs (and feedback). This is a demanding system condition wise and it doesn’t hide ANY faults. All records wet-vacuum cleaned on a VPI 16.5 before shipped.

Shipping and handling: LP will be shipped in Sleeve City Ultimate inners and outers (the very best in my opinion) - vinyl will be out of the sleeve unless otherwise requested or the LP is sealed. LP(s) will be shipped very securely between two pieces of cardboard. I’ll send you the tracking number as soon as the LP ships. Domestic shipping is $5.00 and that includes tracking (Media Mail) // priority mail will cost at least $2.00 more, but you will need a quote. International shipping will be at least $35.00 as it must be sent registered to protect myself due to PayPal policies. I will send you a shipping quote. If international shipping turns out to be less, I will refund you. Canada must be sent registered too, and that will be at least $20.00, probably more.
