A chance to win a pair of very rare Rolling Stones Studio+Live lps that are becoming very hard to find.The first is the famous Bright Lights Big City lp,which contains the Stones IBC sessions from 1963 & BBC tracks from the Whistle Test circa 1973.This is a plain yellow label release & not the more widely available TMOQ version ergo the record label/manufacturer is not stated though the Matrices indicated are RS541-A+RS541-B.The sleeve has some edge,creasing and ringwear,but the real beauty in this package is the vinyl which is in fantastic barely played condition!!The 2nd lp up here is a very early 1970s copy of the famous Stones in concert lp entitled Live'r Than You'll Ever Be Live in San Diego recorded on the infamous USA tour of 1969.The sleeve as seen in my pictures is uniquely customised by it's previous owner!It has two pictures pasted on each side of the plain white card sleeve taken from Jackie magazine in 1969 and the other is circa1971/2.The picture taken with Brian Jones is one of the last group shots taken with the late great guitar hero i believe.The other is taken with Brian's replacement Mick Taylor.The previous owner has written the venue as San Francisco and his own guess at the song titles on occasion lol,but research has taken me to know that this is indeed the San Diego concert.The vinyl on this edition is in nice enough condition with only a few faint scuffs marks/hairlines,and plays through well with a little background 'static' occasionally in quieter passages places though thankfully there isn't much quiet as the Stones really rock the house :).The heavyweight vinyl record has Blue & Silver labels.The only titles on the label are MAK BIG BAND on each side and B1-A( side 1) and B1-B (side 2) along with 331/3 rpm.So there you have it,a chance to extend your Stones lp collection at a reasonable start price,and in one case you can own a very nice unique custom sleeve,which in my humble opinion is worth it for the pictures alone..but along with the fantastic music it's a must have :) As always any questions about the items are welcome.I ship worldwide.Thank you for looking in and Happy bidding and play them LOUD!! ;) :)
