I have been buying and shipping records online since 2004 and understand the excitement of a new LP arriving at your doorstep.  I also understand from time to time there are dings caused by shipping.  That can be a disappointment and is sometimes simply unavoidable.  Over the course of production records will be handled multiple times; production, shipping to label, shipping to store, ship to buyer etc. 

That being said please read below for information regarding shipping, insurance, packing etc.

Packing Process:

1.       I purchase all my shipping materials from Uline, however, I believe in recycling and you may receive an LP in a previously used mailer.  I have a dedicated workstation for LP’s.

2.       I place your LP in the mailer and insulate with either standard cardboard mailers or standard LP bubble wrap that measure the same dimension of a standard LP.  Your package will be insulated so the record is not able to shift around in the package.

3.       I use 2 layers of tape and hit the corners to further insulate and prevent dust intruding the best I can.

If you are one who cannot handle the possibility of your record arriving with a 1/4th of an inch bend on a corner then I suggest you probably look elsewhere to buy records or simply insure the package.

If you would like to request a different packing method, please contact me when the sale is finalized, because I ship items as soon as possible.  If an alternative shipping method is requested I will not be responsible for the condition of the LP.

Insurance Policy: If your item costs over an amount that you feel is a large sum of money please insure your LP.  Buyer pays insurance.

International Shipping: I ship internationally.  Given the shape, size and fragility of LP’s along with the length of the journey please insure your LP with global shipping.  Buy pays insurance.
