This copy is the second UK mono issue of the first Stones LP.

This issue has side one matrix number stamped XARL 6271-1A & side two matrix stamped XARL 6272-4A confirming it plays the full 4:06 version of Tell Me

The label is the Third variant of the First unboxed label design estimated to have been used between late 1964 and mid 1965. The label lists the Reed credit for Honest I Do as well as listing I Need You Baby instead of Mona. With boxed Biem & NCB stacked to the mid - far left of centre hole and without recording first published 1964 text which has been replaced with (P)1964.

The sleeve is the third printing variant with MONO printed on the back & I Need You Baby listed instead of Mona.

Condition :-

The front laminated sleeve shows only some minor laminate creasing at the edges which has clearly legible print. The non-laminated rear of the sleeve aside from a previous owners name & a pen mark in the corners has survived with only some very minor yellowing from age.

The labels remain clean & unmarked with just a few minor spindle marks to indicate play. The vinyl is also clean with just a couple of faint paper scuffs all be told a nice VG+/EX- example.
