We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

All in IMMACULATE play condition.. Stunning original UK issued and we have never seen better!

THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the  ORIGINAL MAD HATTER LABEL  pressing- Stored from new this LP has seen TWO PLAYS AT BEST only, and remains in pristine AS NEW condition everywhere.

It has been archived from new until now- an immaculate vinyl!

COMPLETE WITH THE DECCA POLY LINER INSIDE THE CARD INNER SLEEVE

This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

ONE spider line around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There is barely a hint of any fine whisp lines, and thats it-  nothing else!  Just a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..

IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through we heard nothing bar the tiniest of lead in static in the dead grooves..it sounds like new as it could be!  a stunning example...and as good as we have auctioned ever.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

 

THE LABELS   MINT  FLAT MATT LABELS

 

THE SLEEVE     EX+ STRONG 

Correct  first UK issued earliest MATT TEXTURED GATEFOLD  sleeve  -with the THICK INNER SLEEVE & DECCA INNER.

NOTE:

AS FAR AS WE KNOW, ONLY THE VERY FIRST RUN HAD THIS VERY THICK TEXTURED CARD FINISH WHICH IS SIMILAR TO THE USA PRINTED SLEEVES FROM THIS ERA- BUT THIS IS A UK SLEEVE!!

Later sleeves have a lighter texturing, and then subsequent presses we see have no texture just flat latt finish (most have blue label charisma vinyls inside these)

So this sleeve here is a real treasutre..and in stunning condition!!

The edges are all super clean with just a couple of very fine spots  of rub on the edge, and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

No powdery white ringwear - NO ring press, and all edges are super crisp.

Some very light dulling where the texturing has been pressed against other stored LPs.nothing to worry over really.

NO tip rub of any note &  just a couple of tiny spider lines on the edges

The spine edge is totally unmarked with no wear. SOME LIGHT FADE ON THE SPINE (typical of this particular release)

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -superb.

the gatefold is pristine like new

THE INNER SLEEVE   MINT 

THICK CARD ORIGINAL - THERE ARE NO SPLITS, WEAR OR DISCOLOUR, and as mentioned, the vinyl was housed in the original DECCA poly liner inside the card inner..amazing.

YES..A REALLY STUNNING COPY HERE FOLKS!
