| | | ARTIST: HIGH TIDE TITLE: Sea Shanties - 1st - VG DESCRIPTION: HIGH TIDE Sea Shanties (1969 UK 6-track stereo LP on the blue & turquoise label described as one of the first progressive metal albums from the UK. What ever the case this is dirty fuzzed-up psych-rock of the highest order & certainly one of the heaviest of the late sixties to come from these shores. Features Tony Hill [The Misunderstood] on detuned fuzz duties plus Simon House [Hawkind] on violin. The gatefold sleeve has weakened over time with discolouring from handling aprice sticker tear top right & heavy scuffing
along the spine resulting in a split in the middle. The artwork
inside still looks amazing however & the vinyl is in VG/VG-
condition playing well but with significant spindle wear on the
labels & a handful of light paper hairline scuffs. Far from
mint this remains a welcome collection filler with near mint
copies well up in the three figure sum territory! LBS83264)
