THE SEVENS s/t (Feathered Apple FA 6507)
Simply THEE best beat/garage LP from Europe in the 60s, hands down, reflected in its $2000+ price tag on an original copy [if you can find one]!!
Originally released on the Swiss Layola label in '66, this ROCKS from start to finish! The best thing (apart from the awesomely raw recording) is that it's mostly comprised of EXCELLENT original songs, with just a few covers thrown in (Animals' I'm Crying, Kinks' Don't You Fret etc) - dig the feedback freakout of Panam, the rockin' 12-string of Be My Loving Baby, the moody minor key gems You Should Know and What Can I Do!! FANTASTIC!!

This is the 2005 Feathered Apple release pressed on 180gram vinyl, the only band-sanctioned version of this landmark LP. This has been carefully mastered from a very clean copy of the original LP, so sound quality is TOPS!! Comes in full colour fold-over sleeve (like the original) with a large (A2) B & W poster, with full band history in English on the back. Very limited edition!
