Wow!!! At last—all six sides by Austrian Beat Legends, THE SLAVES, gathered together on one limited edition (500—only) vinyl 10"!!
Anyone with more than a passing interest in European 60s Beat should be familiar with these misfits, who were famously described as 'beat from hell', and certainly lived up to that lofty moniker! They released 3 singles in quick succession in '66, and ALL 6 sides are superlative examples of garage-punk-beat-crunch!! 5 out of the 6 titles are killer group originals, plus an astounding cover of the Everly Brothers' 'Nancy's Minuet', here retitled as 'Never Free'.
Quality vinyl pressed at Pallas in Germany, with cool label/sleeve pics and liners, which tantalisingly indicate that just MAYBE there's an LP of unreleased material...who knows?!
