Here is a chance to own a very rare and very acceptable  playing copy of the Sex Pistols classic 1977 lp Never Mind the Bollocks-Cat No-VIL 12086.This copy was manufactured in Italy using the very beautiful 'Two Virgins with a Red Dragon' mid 1970s Virgin label,completely different to almost any other release of this lp at the time (I believe Greece was the only other country to the best of my knowledge?).It seems more fitting to grace one of the many prog/Krautrock bands on the Virgin roster at the time,but as you can see it's visually very striking.Importantly the lp is in very nice condition with only some light surface wispy hairlines and scuffs.It plays brilliantly with the very minimum of any background noise.I always playtest my lps on my Acoustic Research classic turntable,which always highlights any problems.I'm sure whoever purchases this will not be disappointed.The sleeve has 2 or 3 specks of a gold pen on the front and a few dents and dings.Also there is some ring/ edge/corner/spine wear as can be seen in the pictures,but overall is a decent enough example..certainly not trashed like some copies i've seen.This lp is one of very few pressings where the date the Master Plates were created is etched into the runout grooves.In the dead wax is etched  2-11-77,so it's as near as you'll get to a very first press and certainly pinpoints the date of manufacture.
