A little known, but well respected and definitive illustrated guide to authenticating genuine Elvis Presley Sun Record Company 45rpm recordings from 1954 to end 1955. ( Catalogue  Nos. Sun 209, 210, 215, 217 and 223 - That's All Right, Good Rockin' Tonight, Milkcow Blues Boogie, Baby Let's Play House and Mystery Train   -   together with their "flip sides".)

This is the only reliable guide to distinguishing between the genuine Sun pressings and the fakes/counterfeits/bootlegs. Also included is information on "delta" pressings, "push marks" , the individual rarity of each of the five Sun Record Co. Elvis Presley issues, the differences between Memphis, Philadelphia (East Coast) and Los Angeles (West Coast) pressings, the variations/misprints of the labels of genuine Sun pressings, and the correct dead wax etchings and their positions/orientations, the dead wax triangle mark on certain genuine pressings, and the significance of the "MSI" etching.

*NOTE:  This guide will also tell you why there are NO push marks on certain genuine pressings,(other than "Mystery Train") which can mistakenly lead some people to wrongly identify them as "fakes" or "bootlegs".

*The guide is now extended to cover the authenticity and information on the very first re- issues of the Sun recordings on the RCA Victor label in December, 1955, which pre-dated the release of "Heartbreak Hotel" in January, 1956. Also there are the latest results of the January 2015 Gracelands/Elvis auction including the original, 1953, "My Happiness"/"That's When Your heartaches Begin" personal acetate (yes - it has been found and sold providing a benchmark value for the commercial Sun releases), and latest record price for an Elvis-signed Sun Records Co. "That's All Right" 78rpm, and unused file copy (promotional) of "That's All Right" 45rpm. There is also a postscript on how to pack 78rpms for safe and intact delivery - an inexpensive, tried and tested method that has worked successfully for me for 10 years. You need to be very careful with those valuable Sun Record Co. 78rpms.

Luxury "leather effect" black card covers with spine clip or enclosed in a same finish presentation folder - premium white A4 text and graphics premium paper - 28 pages. This is a home printed document compiled in nicely presented small booklet. Newly revised and the most recent information.
