PHIL WOODS – ENCOURES BY THE PHIL WOODS NEW JAZZ QUINTET – PRESTIGE 191 – 10” LP – 446 W. 50th ST. N.Y.C - EX/EX – MONO

Recorded at the Van Gelder studio on February 4, 1955, this Prestige 10 inch LP features Phil Woods on alto, accompanied by Jon Eardley on trumpet, George Syran on piano, Teddy Kotick on bass and Nick Stabulas on drums. SIDE A: COBBLESTONES and TOOS BLOOS. SIDE B: HORSE SHOE CURVE and SEA BEACH. The address on the label is 446 W. 50TH ST. N.Y.C and the address on the record jacket is DEPT. A, 446 W. 50TH. ST, NEW YORK, N.Y. The initials “RVG” are stamped in the blank vinyl. This is a MONO recording.

I gave both the vinyl and the record jacket an EX grade was for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean of any real marks, except for one very slight one on Side B, Cut 1, which does not interfere with play. Otherwise, the vinyl is clean. There doesn’t appear to and wear in or around the spindle hole, on either side of the LP. The record jacket has an old taped top seam on the upper right and there is some wear on the bottom left corner. The cover is in excellent condition, as well as the liner notes, which are slightly discolored due to age. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING

Satisfaction guaranteed on item. I regret that the USPS has raised their prices. The LP will be well packed. Fully packed in a crush proof box, it weighs 1.10 pounds. Due to increased cost, I have to charge an additional $1.00 for packing in the crush proof box. Believe me, it’s worth it! The method of payment is PayPal. As of October 20, 2008, eBay has decided to make the only method of payment for this item! This way, eBay has you coming and going! If you are a bidder who prefers to pay by other means, I suggest that you file a complaint! I regret the inconvenience. The LP will be shipped either by Media Rate @ $3.09 or by Priority Mail @ $6.80 and up depending where you reside. Overseas bidders should consider First Class Mail International. The cost to Europe and Asia begins at $22.75 in the crush proof box. It’s worth it! USPS has hammered overseas shipping!
