LP # RS 1001(LSP4852)
Matrix # CPRY 4543 – CPRY 4544.
Hand-etched on A Side: # A5 –AE
Hand-etched on B Side: # A7 –AM (the 7 could possibly be 4 but it looks like an elongated 7)
The original RCA 1973 pressing, not a reissue
The LP has scores and needle marks where the needle had carelessly been knocked across its playing surface. That said I have played both sides of the LP on my own basic Sony turntable and the A - Side plays fine. There are no major flaws.
With the – B Side however, towards the end of the very last track (Lady Grinning Soul) it sticks, although a very gentle tap on the edge of the turntable is enough to release it and it plays to the end of the track, the arm runs out and returns automatically to the cradle, as it’s supposed to. But please remember if bidding, it catches towards the end of the last track, although, someone with knowledge may be able to repair it. Both sides retain their vinyl gloss.
The sleeve is in good too very good condition, it may have lost its newness which is expected for an album of this age, but it is free from any previous owner writing, breaks, tears or creasing and it is clean, the artwork inner sleeve is made of sturdy card with the song lyrics printed on it. It is a nice gatefold sleeve (see photographs).
Thank you for looking. Only genuine buyers/bidders. If you have any questions please ask. I will always reply to any queries you may have. A full no quibble refund will be given if you find the LP is not as described. Thank you.
