All records are graded to
the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as
required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record
you will receive if successful.
This record is in very good condition. It has a few very spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or severe fading anywhere. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are in good shape.
As
for the vinyl itself, both sides are actually very clean, have a lovely gloss and have nothing really major showing. There are some light surface lines just visible, mild signs of use and one small 1cm scratch in track 2 on side 2. This scratch does not appear to be really deep but can just about be felt when you run your finger over it. Other than this small mark the record is actually very clean with only mild signs of use. There are extremely minor wispy
lines, light 'sleeve scuffs' and mild signs of use visible under very bright white light but nothing
really sinister. Overall the record has a lovely shine and no really nasty marks just this one short mark on side 2 as mentioned.
I play tested the
record and it plays well for the vast majority but has a series of clicks audible in track 2, caused by the mark mentioned above. This issue is the reason for the lower grading and they can be heard faintly in the background throughout the track, and clearly in the quieter parts. So overall this issue with the clicks in track 2 on side 2 is not ideal, but despite this I still enjoyed the play test. There is occasional mild surface noise in places but nothing severe or really disruptive. There are no skips, sticks or any other issues with clicks. It really is just track 2 on side 2 and then just some general light surface noise in places. I think a grade of VG is fair and overall the majority is a little higher than this.
The sleeve is in very good condition. It has wear to the edges and corners(pics), and the writing along the spine is now difficult to read. There are no splits anywhere and overall the sleeve is solid all round. It does however have ring marks showing, mild creasing in places and some general grubbiness to it. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere but it does have this general wear which gives it a 'used look', hence the lower grading. I have tried to capture the sleeves issues as best I can in the pictures provided so please study these to gain as much information as possible.
It
includes its original info inner which is in very good
condition. This has no tears or pen marks and only a little creasing. There is however some grubby marks on both sides that make it appear tatty. There is also wear to the edges and 1" split developing in the left edge. So overall it is still solid with no major issues but the grubbiness and light wear as mentioned.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
