Let me first start with this:  While my current feedback appears low, I previously sold under the ebay seller name 'kennykenken', have been a member & seller of exclusively records on ebay for over 16 years (!) & have maintained a stellar feedback rating for the entire duration.  This new account was set up as a business account, and will be the only place to find my items from here on out.  Please bid with the utmost confidence, I take great pride in my items & service.  Thanks for looking.

On the Coronet Recording Co. label, catalog # LPS-6019/6022, stereo pressing, not sure of exact date for this one, late 60s or early 70s for sure.  34 tracks.  Second copy I've had of this in 10 years, I believe I was the first person to sell this on ebay way back in 2006, my description then still applies today:  strange one here, band is made up of prison inmates from the Indiana State Prison system, band is called 'The Super Stars', led by Ernest Howard.  Music runs the gamut, from free jazz, afro-jazz, soul, funk to straight jazz....great stuff.  All based on the life of John the Baptist.  A really great record, and one that hardly ever comes up for sale.  Please check my other auctions this week for many other high ticket rarities....selling off all my best records in one auction.  


Two pocket gatefold cover is VG+, with some light seam/corner wear, small corner dent in lower left corner, a bit of creasing in same corner, small tear inside gatefold cover in left corner, and some rub/ring wear on back cover....displays well, but is a tough cover to see & photograph!  Vinyl is as follows:  Side One is VG+, with a few light paper scuffs, while the other three sides are strong VG+, with just a couple very light paper scuffs.  Vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI.


All records are visually graded....I do not have time to play grade all the records I sell.  If I see something that looks as though it will affect play, I will play grade it, and will make note of that in description of vinyl.


Both ITALY & FRANCE customers must pay REGISTERED AIRMAIL shipping, regardless of the final value of the item(s)....NO exceptions!  Shipping prices are quoted below.  Also, I do not accept bids from those of you with zero feedback.  Sorry, no exceptions.  Thanks in advance for your understanding.  As always, I will not end auctions early, please don't even bother to ask.

I cannot be held responsible for any damages that occur during shipping.  I pack my items in dedicated record mailers, with cardboard inserts on BOTH sides of record, with the record outside of cover to prevent seam splits.  Sealed records will be shipped sealed, unless other arrangements are made.  I've been shipping records in this fashion for over ten years now, I know what I'm doing.  Please inquire about insurance, as that is the only way to protect yourself from damage caused by the post office.

Quick note to future buyers:  If you have a question, please ask it BEFORE you buy the record, don't assume details without confirming with me, it will save us both future headaches.
