You are bidding for an original 1st press, 1st version of  'The Beatles - Abbey Road', it comes from my own collection and I bought it on the day of its release in 1969.

This is a 1st press Apple Version #1 with a small 33 1/3, small ℗, and without 'Her Majesty' print on either the sleeve or the label, with no extra pressing ring around the spindle hole. All of these make this a very 1st version for it's day of release.

Side 1  & 2 print is aligned with 'Mfd in UK' print also making it very first press. Subsequent ones 'Mfd in UK' was slightly to the right, below Side 2.

The cover is the 'uncropped' picture with the apple aligned with Side 1 text, and the 'A' in Abbey Road set in from the edge of the sleeve. The so called misaligned version has 'Abbey Road' at the very edge of the cover.

It comes with the original black inner sleeve which shows very minor wear with a very small 'splits'  on two edges and an approx 2 inch split on the remaining side.

The matrix are: Side 1: YEX 749-2, and side 2: YEX 750-1.

The vinyl is in VG condition with just some very slight marks in places, no scratches, very good for 47 years old!

The fully laminated 'Drain' cover shows signs of wear, but is essentially very good condition.
