For sale is Minnie Riperton's Perfect Angel, originally released in 1974 by Epic Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are etched the matrix numbers 3-C/3-G, followed by "Kendun", indicating that this album was mastered at Kendun Recorders, Burbank, California and an early stamper was used to make this first edition. These hallmarks signify state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. I bought this new, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any insert(s) or original inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release.  There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The vinyl is visually graded as VG+ because of faint sleeve marks and slight surface scratches. The vinyl is play graded as Excellent because of an occasional pop and very low level surface noise thai is barely noticeable. The cover is graded as VG+ because of corner blunts, edge rubs and tiny stress cracks along the spine. The spine has a little color loss. This is the best copy of this hard to find record that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition. It's been played on only Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. It's a beautifully sounding record. I have other Soul albums, as well as records of all different genres in my Ebay store. They're mostly Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
