For sale is Frank Sinatra's This Is Sinatra!, originally released in 1956 by Capitol Records in Mono with turquoise labels. This record was later released by Capitol for their Starline labels in the 1960's, which had two color versions of their label, gold and black. This is a reissue from 1966 with the rarer black "Starline" labels. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers N-48/N-45, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put this album into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. Doing this protects the integrity of vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The original inner sleeve is graded as Excellent with a creased seam. The cover is graded as Excellent because of slight ring wear and a corner rub. The spine has a little color loss at that corner. The vinyl is visually graded as VG+ because of very faint sleeve marks and surface scratches. The vinyl is play graded as VG+ with an occasional pop and ticking along with some very low level surface noise, most noticeable in the quiet sections of playback. This is the best copy of this hard to find record that I've ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one like this one, especially with a black "Starline" label. I have more Sinatra records, as well as albums of all different genres, in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
