For sale is Joe Walsh's So What, originally released in 1974 by ABC Records, and reissued in 1980 as part of MCA Records' Platinum Plus Series with a stamp on the front cover saying "Platinum Plus" in gold followed by "MCA-37055" underneath in gold. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "Kendun", followed by the matrix numbers A-3/B-1, signifying that this record was mastered at Kendun Recorders, Burbank, California and an early stamper was used to make this reissue. These etchings denote state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. Also in the dead wax was etched "That's No Banany, That's My Noze" . I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it in a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is the original embossed/ textured version in Near Mint condition. The vinyl is visually graded as VG+ with sleeve marks and surface scratches. I'm play grading it as VG+ because of an occasional pop and some low level surface noise, most noticeable in the quiet sections of playback. The cover is graded as Excellent because of ring wear and some minor corner blunting. The spine has color loss from some rubs. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. I have more Rock and Roll records, as well as albums of all different genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
